DECENT DAYS AND NIGHTS:
Session IPA (3.8% ABV)
Named after a song by famous Sunderland band (and friends of Vaux) The Futureheads, this is our 'West Coast' Session IPA which is dry hopped with Simcoe and Amarillo.
The combination of these two hops adds bright citrus flavours with earthy and piney undertones to provide a session beer that you can drink day or night.
"We could have a few" as Barry Hyde might say.
Köln Style Lager (5% ABV)
This is a crisp, delicately balanced beer with a subtle hop flavour, a refreshing finish and brilliant clarity. Hopped with noble German hops Hallertauer and Tettnang.
Alter Ego uses a top fermented ale yeast which is then lagered for 6 weeks to produce a beer that enjoys properties of both an ale and a lager in one drink.
KICKS LIKE A MULE
New England IPA (7% ABV)
Hopped with Mosaic, Citra and El Dorado, this beer is typical of the New England style of IPA: hazy and juicy!
The beer has a smooth mouthfeel and less bitterness than a traditional IPA. With this beer, the emphasis is all on the tropical juicy, hop flavours from the generous late
and dry hopping of the beer.
Best Bitter (4.5% ABV)
Our unique blend of Maris Otter Pale Malt, Munich and Caramalt gives this beer a smooth, deceptively complex,
This is a very quaffable, well balanced and refreshing best bitter.
